Second Annual Education Service Center, Region 20, Spanish Spelling Bee.

This year the Leal Middle School Dual Language Program will participate in the second annual ESC 20 Regional Spanish Spelling Bee to be held on November 8, 2014.  Participants will be chosen from Leal MS campus through spelling bees held in the dual language classrooms during the week of September 8-12, 2014.  The top three spellers and one alternate will then compete in the district spelling bee to be held on October 10, 2014, at Harlandale High School.

Practice lists will be provided to students on Monday, September 8, 2014, during class.  Students will study the list on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  The competition for SLAR6 will be held on Thursday, September 11, during advisory.  Once the winners have been determined, participants will practice during advisory for the next two weeks in preparation for the district spelling bee.
