About the Teacher

Elizabeth Serna
Special Education/ELAR 8th

Greetings! Just to let you know a little about myself, I graduated from Texas A&M San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in the spring of 2011. As a firm believer in continuing education, I decided to go back to school and I earned a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction with a minor in inclusive education. It was a challenge between work, family, and school, but I conquered!
I am a born and bred, south-side of San Antonio native with a deep passion and pleasure for teaching on the side of town in which I was raised in. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, and getting lost in a good book.
